ABOUT US
SWPI Institute (Sustainable World Prospective Institute) was founded in 2003 by Juanjo Gabiña. it is an independent structure for reflection, analysis and prospective-strategic studies, aimed at both, public and private sectors and focuses on examining how complex systems work. It defines what possible futures can be awaiting us and it makes us able to prepare the future in advance to maintain our margins of action.
SWPI's Strategic Forecasting reflection and analysis work is based on three important convictions:
1. The future is not predetermined in advance.

2. The future can be built. There will be no freedom of choice and action without an anticipatory attitude for future events. Reactive strategy is worth less and less and is always more traumatic.

3. The future is linked to a large amount of uncertainty and risk. It is necessary to optimize the means and resources available, using Strategic Foresight as a work tool if we do not want to mortgage our future.
